Unwanted Christmas Puppies

Rescued from the back of a van…

Underweight, dirty and scared.

This is the moment 5 unwanted pups arrived at Crosskennan a week before Christmas, rescued from the back of a van by one of our supporters.

Like all of our rescues they will be fully assessed and available for rehoming once we are satisfied they are ready. In the meantime if you would like to help us to care for them you can send donations towards supplies & veterinary care via PayPal or JustGiving

For regular updates on our ongoing rescue work and animals available for rehoming make sure to follow our Facebook page.

We are anticipating that these will not be the last puppies we see this festive season so are appealing to our supporters to help us to care for them, and to prepare for other arrivals.

UPDATE – 21/12/16

The five rescued puppies are now doing much better and starting to come around

All of them are now in foster homes with some of our experienced volunteers and absolutely loving life this Christmas – what a change from last week when they were cowering scared in the back of an old van!

We still need donations needed for veterinary care –
If anyone would like to help by contributing towards their veterinary care please CLICK HERE

Please remember they are not currently available for rehoming until we have had time to assess them (and let Christmas pass) – keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on when they are available for rehoming 🐶
