Update on Tim

Just an update on Tim’s condition for everyone who was kind enough to support his appeal for meeting the cost of his veterinary care and operation.
Tim, a Collie pup, had been born with a complete absence of hip socket development.
Tim recently had another visit to Gilbert McKnight, Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic, where he was examined and had more X-rays taken of his hips. The vet told us that he is pleased with Tim’s progress and that his exercise regime is paying off with a considerable increase in his muscle mass and a reasonable range of motion in his hips. The X-rays also showed that Tim is forming bilateral pseudoarthrosis or false joints which will be allowed to progress over the next few months, at which point he will be assessed again for surgical intervention.
