Thomas came to us several years ago as an 8 year old. He was emaciated, lame and very cross. He had been around various homes, riding schools etc but was very quickly moved on again due to his bad manners.  He had aggression problems and would have bitten and kicked people without any obvious provocation. His worst crime was to bite a young girl hard on her face. With a little training, he is now a lovely pony, capable of doing anything asked of him. He has represented the sanctuary at many public events, working with disabled children and in our Animals Helping People programs.Thomas has joined some of the other rehabilitated rescued horses, ponies and ex-racehorses at CLAS  to provide private riding lessons to raise funds for less fortunate animals in need of help.
