Events
The sanctuary offers many events which are available for booking and can be tailored to your individual needs.
Pony Birthday Parties - Give your child a birthday party they'll never forget. Pony rides, grooming, horse shoe painting, games, and full use of kitchen facilites for up to 3 hours.
Own a Pony for a day - A wonderful chance to have a favourite pony all to yourself for the day. Learn how to care for them including feeding and grooming.
Pony Hire - Some of the sanctuary equines are available for hire, eg: Community, school and business events.
Back in the saddle - A chance to revisit a neglected hobby for anyone wishing to get back to basics.
Saturday Club - 3 fun filled hours of learning about equine, dog and cat care including a lunch break for children of all ages.
Ladies Morning Club - Get the girlies together for a cuppa and some horse care. A great chance for a get-together.
Horse Care Courses - Half day courses teaching the basics of equine and companion animal care for groups of children/young people. Perfect for youth clubs, Scouts, Girls Brigade etc. Tailored to your own needs.
Teambuilding Workshops - Workshops will involve exercises and tasks designed to tackle particular areas required by the corporate client, eg: Leadership, Stress reduction and Problem solving.
Animals Helping People Project - This project offers young people the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, motivation and self-esteem by working independently and in a team with animals learning all aspects of their care. Our project targets areas, groups and individuals within Northern Ireland with a need to develop their communicative and social skills.
